ALARA Is pleased to present a webinar with Prof Alfredo Ortiz Aragón entitled Methodologically speaking, what is the (p)AR the world needs today and in the future, considering our biggest local and global challenges?.
Date and time: Wednesday 7 August 2024 at 9:00 am (Australian Eastern Standard Time) via Zoom.
“Action research is for everyone…” Those were the opening words of welcome from Bob Dick at the Melbourne Action Learning, Acton Research Association World Congress in 2010. He confirmed, done well, it is a demanding discipline with people, at times, uncomfortably so. The invitation of ‘being for everyone’ leads this call for papers. It reflects especially Action Research’s essential contribution to the democratisation of knowledge, giving voice, strength and strategy to those too often silenced or marginalised.
Submissions close on 31st August 2025. Please see here for the full description of the Call.
You are invited to this ALAR Webinar on 9 June 2025
The webinar will present research from a paper that responds to 3 questions:
- What is the history, current state, and future potential of action learning?
- What are the implications of GenAI on action learning?
- How can we develop a new Action Learning model suitable for the era of GenAI?
