Action Learning, Action Research Association (ALAR Association) was pleased to offer an interactive webinar with Mary Brydon-Miller, Ph.D., who was Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, Evaluation, and Organizational Development in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Louisville in the USA.

Mary is a participatory action researcher who conducts work in school, community, and organizational settings. She is the editor, with David Coghlan, of the SAGE Encyclopedia of Action Research (2014). Her most recent book with Sarah Banks is Ethics in Participatory Research for Health and Social Well-Being: Cases and Commentaries (2019). She is currently serving as a Fulbright Research Fellow at the University of Technology, Sydney working with Shankar Sankaran and Pernille Christensen on a climate change education initiative.

During this webinar, Mary discussed her work and her time in Australia and New Zealand on the Fulbright Scholarship. Mary also discussed ways of continuing and extending this work through the ALAR Association network. She (and ALAR Association) welcomed ideas and participation.
