Joining ALARA
There are many benefits of being an Action Learning, Action Research Association Ltd (ALAR Association, also known as ALARA) member. These benefits include opportunities to access current issues of the ALAR Journal, be mentored through the publication process (if you elect to seek this support and a mentor is available), receive discounts to ALARA-run Conferences and events, and access to the membership base of ALAR Association. There are several levels of membership, depending on your primary country of residence and your life circumstances.
Concessional membership is for students, retired persons, or those with low income (under about $20,000 per annum). Full membership applies to all other applicants.
ALARA applies groupings are based on the World Bank's list of countries.

Please note: You must both complete the Application form and pay the subscription to join ALAR Association.
If your organisation wishes to join ALAR Association, there are five types of Organisational Membership:
- Corporate membership (more than 200 staff)
- Professional membership (allied professional organisation)
- SME membership (between 10 and 200 staff)
- Micro-organisation membership (10 or less employees)
- Affiliate membership (peer professional AL and AR networks and associations)
