Programme

Authors have submitted over thirty submissions for presentations at the ALARA-UTS conference. The Organising Committee is developing the programme for the conference, but here are some of the accepted proposals.

  • Daniele Dal Cengio (with Assoc Prof Robin Mulyadi and Assoc Prof Diane Kalendra): Developing a high-performance virtual team: An action research study in the construction industry in Australia and New Zealand (paper presentation)
  • Prof Lesley Wood (with Dr Ortrun Zuber-Skerritt and Margaret Todhunter): Shaping the future of Higher Education through positive and sustainable action learning frameworks (workshop)
  • Dr Marina Harvey (with Dr Kate Lloyd, Dr Agnes Bosanquet, Dr Kathryn McLachlan, Dr Anne-Louise Semple and Dr Greg Walkerden: The practice of reflection for, and in, Action Research (workshop)
  • Stephanie Rosestone (with Dr Johanna Lynch): Discernment in Action: Transdisciplinary Generalism as a craft to envision and act for whole person and planet wellbeing (workshop)
  • Takayoshi Kusago: Collaborative Action Research by Local Stakeholders: Transforming Towards a Sustainable Well-Being Society
  • Prof Sandra Jones (with Dr Marina Harvey): Building capacity for collaboration in Action Research: using the 6Es of distributed lead(er)ship
  • Dr Emmanuel Santos (with Prof Rene Villano, Dr Jonathan Moss and Benjamin Wilson): A contextually adaptive and collaborative data innovation using action research
  • Ass Prof Yuko Morishige (with Dr Abdramane Berthe and Fatoumata Tou): Sisterhood takes women's ultra-small businesses in Burkina Faso one step ahead: Documentary-based workshop for business skill development
