Action research, collaborative research and participatory research - engaged scholarship in projects and innovations

Participatory and collaborative research approaches, such as action research, as a form of engaged scholarship, are effective in promoting interdisciplinary research to deliver social and technological innovation. They facilitate close cooperation between practitioners and researchers to link theory and practice. Participatory approaches have a broader perspective as a collaborative form of research to explore the future of management. They offer a grand opportunity to address key challenges in project and innovation management in a novel and constructive way. This track calls for papers that exemplify the use of collaborative and participatory approaches contributing to social and technological innovation by managing

The World Education Research Association (WERA) invites proposals to establish International Research Networks (IRNs). The purpose of WERA-IRNs is to advance education research worldwide on specific scholarly topics. IRNs are collaborative groups of scholars working on a specific research topic primarily through virtual communication or other channels. The proposal deadline is 15 February 2019.

The ALARA Qld Conversation group hold regular facilitated conversation evenings in Brisbane, to promote action learning and action research.

If you are interested in facilitating/leading an action learning/action research conversation in late October or early November, or sometime in 2019, you are invited to provide a brief bio and outline of your topic area, (see attached template). 

After consultation with the Queensland group I will then be in contact with you to discuss further.
