Action Research Community of Practice

The first meeting of the Auckland CoP last month was a success with 18 people joining the meeting. The next Auckland CoP will be on on Wednesday, December 10 at 1.00 pm in New Zealand, 11.00 am in Eastern Australia Summer Time (10.00 am in Queensland, 10.30 am in South Australia and 8.00 am in Western Australia), Midnight in London, and 7.00 pm Tuesday December 9th in Eastern USA.

2026 ALARA Action Learning, Action Research Conference

As indicated last month, the ALARA Board are working on securing a site, probably in Melbourne, Australia, for the 2026 ALARA Conference, which will be held in September or October next year. The Board is also seeking people willing to assist in preparing for, and conducting, this conference. If you are willing to help, please contact ALARA.

Action Learning and Action Research Journal

Preparations are underway for the next issue of the ALAR Journal, scheduled for later this month. In addition, one of the Editorial Board, Dr Azril Bacal Roij, is leading the collection of multilingual papers that will be in the first issue for 2026. Papers received are in Esperanto, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Greek.

Members are also invited to submit papers for the 2026 issues via the ALARj site.
