Invitation to ALARA MembersALARA is nearing its 35th anniversary, and it is time to consider its medium- to long-term future. The ALARA Board invites all members to participate in a conversation about that future.
Two questions the Board would like to discuss with its members are - where to from here, and how to get there? 11th Action Learning Action Research and 15th Participatory Action Research World CongressPutting Global Collaboration at the Heart of Action Research The Call for Papers for the World Congress is closing in two weeks (30 June), so please submit your proposal. Registrations for the World Congress are open, with prices from $55 per day for online attendance, and for two days on-site attendance in Manila, $235, Auckland $350, and Sydney $385 (concessions also available). Webinar with Alfredo Ortiz AragónThe ALARA Webinar "Action Learning in the Context of Generative Artificial Intelligence" was very successful, and a video will be available later this month. The next webinar will be with Alfredo Ortiz Aragón in early August - date and time to be confirmed in coming weeks. Action Learning and Action Research JournalHe Karanga - A Call for Papers - Special Issue As announced last month, the call for papers reflects especially Action Research’s essential contribution to the democratisation of knowledge, giving voice, strength and strategy to those too often silenced or marginalised. How Can You Help?ALARA Is a volunteer-run organisation. The Board welcomes any offers of assistance. Note: you do not have to be a Co-ordinator.
