Registrations Open for ALARA-BALT 2020 Conference
Hello
I hope you and your loved ones remain safe and well.
I am very pleased to announce that registrations for the ALARA-BALT Australasian Conference 2020 are now open.
The Conference will be held on 8 - 11 November 2020. It will be a virtual conference, with satellite locations. A key satellite will be in Launceston, Tasmania. We are encouraging members to gather in small groups to form satellite locations in their own city. Naturally, we will welcome participants in Launceston. We appreciate that making plans this year, with continuing uncertainty on travel restrictions, is difficult, so we have catered for both types of conference settings.
You can register on the registration page. Types of registration are:
- Virtual attendance at all sessions
- ALARA or BALT members - $75.00
- Non-members - $95.00
- Groups - $195 - the group can be any size, remembering all participants will want to be able to see the presentations on the monitor or TV / projection screen
- Attendance at the face-to-face conference in Launceston
- ALARA or BALT members - $425 (Early Bird)
- Non-members - $495 (Early Bird)
- Concessional - $395
We will make available registration for single sessions for individuals and groups once the conference programme is approaching finalisation.
We have our first keynote speaker, with more news of further speakers and presentations to come. See details here.
Presentation Submissions: We are still accepting submissions of proposals until 3 August, so please send your proposal on the submission form to ALARA by that date.
A quick word of thanks for our sponsors, Action Learning Institute and the City of Launceston whose assistance and support are essential for the success of this conference.
