ACEE ArchiveLong-time supporter of ALARA, Elyssebeth Leigh has advised that the archive of the Australian Consortium on Experiential Education (ACEE) is available online. ACEE was a Community of Practice providing its members with a supportive and challenging environment to develop and disseminate knowledge about cooperative learning, knowledge sharing and challenging boundaries. It produced a journal - A Quarterly Experience (AQE) - between 1981 and 1999. All but the first five editions of the journal are now available online. For a brief period the AQE became the Australian Journal of Experiential Learning (AJEL), and the available issues of that Journal are also included. The ALARA Networks page for electronic and multi-continent AL/AR entities also includes a link for the archive. Action Learning and Action Research JournalThe next issue of the ALAR Journal is expected to be published in coming days. The issue is a special issue recognising the work and interests of Dr Erik Lindhult, who was a member of the ALARA Global Strategic Publications Editorial Board when he passed away last year. The Editorial Board welcomes submissions for the second issue this year (due in early December) or for next year's issues. Please see the ALAR Journal site for more information on submitting to the Journal. Action Learning / Action Research CalendarThe ALARA webpage with Action Learning and Action Research news and events continues to be updated, as does the AL / AR calendar of events. Please send any news for us to add to the webpage and the AL/AR Calendar so that all can see what is happening in the AL/AR communities. If you have any items, please contact ALARA. Colin Bradley |
