Notice of 2022 Annual General Meeting and Call for Nominations

Dear Member

The 2022 Annual General Meeting of Action Learning, Action Research Association Ltd will be conducted as both an electronic meeting and a Zoom meeting. Details and timing are stated below. Vacancies exist on the Board and Committees Group, and members are invited to nominate using the appropriate nomination form (see below).

The electronic section of the meeting will commence at 12.01 am on Sunday 30 October and conclude at 12:00 pm (Noon) on Saturday 12 November 2022. The Zoom (video conference) meeting will commence at 9.00 am on Sunday 13 November 2022. (All times listed are Eastern Australian Daylight Time (Sydney or Melbourne) - please check the relevant time for your location, e.g., timeanddate.com.)

If attending the Zoom meeting, financial members must register by 9.00 pm on Saturday 12 November 2022. To register your intention to participate in this meeting, please advise the Secretary of the email you will be using for the meeting. Registered Financial Members will be sent an email at about 8.55 am on Sunday 13 November 2022, which will include a link (all times listed are Eastern Australian Daylight Time). Clicking on the link will mean the Member will need to accept the download and installation of the appropriate Zoom software that will allow the member to join the meeting. There is no cost to join the meeting.

  • 9.00 am Tuesday 4 October 2022:   Close of nominations.
  • Friday 7 October 2022:   Formal announcement of AGM, including agenda and list of nominees for vacant positions, and invitation to nominate proxy
  • 9.00 am Thursday 27 October 2022:   Close of lodgement of proxies
  • 12.01 am Sunday 30 October 2022:   Commencement of electronic AGM
  • 12:00 pm (Noon) Saturday 12 November 2022:   Close of electronic AGM
  • 9.00 pm Saturday 12 November 2022:   Close of registration for joining video conference AGM
  • 9.00 am Sunday 13 November 2022:   Video conference AGM (via Zoom)
  • Thursday 17 November 2022:   Minutes of AGM available
