ALARA will hold an electronic AGM from 11 September - 24 September 2017. The call for nominations for membership of the Management Committee is open, closing 5pm on Wednesday 23 August 2017.

New Membership Levels for ALARA members

At its meeting on 26 June, ALARA's Management Committee approved a new policy on Membership Levels, with associated changes to the Membership and Life Membership policies (the changes to these latter two policies referencing the new policy's content).

The Membership Levels policy introduces three additional "titles" associated with membership of ALARA: the existing Member level and the new levels of Associate Fellow, Fellow and Esteemed Fellow.

Announcing the Action Learning/Action Research and PAR World Congress 2018

ALARA is pleased to announce that the 10^th Action Learning Action Research and 14th Participatory Action Research World Congress will be held at Norwich University in Vermont USA, on 17 - 20 June 2018.

I encourage you to mark these dates in your diary now, so that you can join with ALARA to help Norwich prepare for its 200th anniversary. Participants will be invited to attend other events at the University, such as the Academic Recognition Ceremony on 21^st June.

The Organising Committee will soon announce the themes, arrangements and registration details. Further announcements will be made via the regular ALARA e-News and special announcements.
