Dear colleagues, I'm sending you this invitation on behalf of CARN & ALARA, because of your connection with an action research network. We'd be delighted if you could join us on October 17th. It's something of a test to see if there is an appetite for further contact across the world. Even if you cannot join us, please feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues, with any networks not included above, and let us know if the idea appeals.

International Meeting of Action Research Networks
at
CARN-ALARA Conference,
17th October 12.45-13.45pm 2019 local time
Split, Croatia and by Zoom
The purpose of this meeting is to make use of the opportunity presented at this joint conference to enable an open exchange and discussion between members of action research networks world-wide.
Members and officers of CARN, ALARA and ARNA will all be present at Split, and conference participants will be welcome to take part. We invite others, including other networks and organisations, to join by virtual means, commencing at 12.30 (local time). We will use the video-conference tool, Zoom, which can link up to 50 locations. The timing has been arranged to maximise global participation.
The meeting will be facilitated by a volunteer from the live meeting at Split. The agenda is open-ended, but will begin with brief (no more than 2 minutes) introductions and reports on activities from all who wish to contribute (25 minutes), followed by discussion on matters of common interest (20 minutes) and perhaps ending with an outline agenda for continued liaison in the future.
If you wish to participate via Zoom, you will need to contact Colin Bradley president@alaraasociation.org to be sent an invitation to join the discussion. You must contact Colin before 15th October to receive the invitation at the commencement of the meeting, which will include a link to join.
Please note that this is also a test for the technology. Full digital image and sound may not always be possible and we may require participants to switch off their cameras. Feedback afterwards on this will be most welcome.
The meeting itself will be from 12.45 pm in Split. Please check your local time. Examples are: New York: 6.45 am; London: 11.45 am; Mumbai: 3.45 pm; Sydney: 9.45 pm; Wellington: 11.45 pm.
